Sorry Steve, we missed that line, can you repeat it forty fucking times?

Academics are proud to announce that they have established the meaning behind glam metal band Aerosmith's most impenetrable lyric.

"It took us years", admits Professor Simon Mullet of The Lowlands University (formerly Berwick Sixth Form College), "but we have established that Steven Tyler thinks that some bloke he knows looks a bit like a girl."

Mullet says that the hours poring over Aerosmith lyrics was extremely hard going. He feels the final, conclusive evidence was the frequency with which one particular line was brainlessly repeated during one particularly rubbish track.

"Especially towards the end of it", he sighs, "where he screeches that same line over and over again until you genuinely think the fucking song will never end."

Mullet hopes that this finding will lead onto further research. However, work on the ballad "Crazy" was sadly cut short when a PhD student tragically shot himself after listening to the song twice.

Mullet is now trying to form a definitive view on how Aerosmith thought people should both walk and talk.

Possible problems with this are the confounding effect of Run DMC, who have appear to have IQ's of over 70 as they didn't rot their brains in 1979 with all the cocaine in Columbia.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
