image for Robert Plant the 'grand old man of rock 'n roll' will do gig at Kate Moss's July Wedding

Fevered speculation of going on about the July wedding of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince. Kate has asked pal Robert Plant to perform at her wedding; he doesn't want to let down a mate.

Kate has seriously gone overboard with her wedding plans and is determined to out shine Liz Hurley's Indian wedding. She also wants her nuptials to eclipse the 'boring' wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The hedonistic model knows practically any one who is any one and it looks like this could be the wedding of the decade. Kate has also called in favours from the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, whom used to hang out with Kate when he broke up with Sophie Dahl.

A lot of people have helped and supported Kate when she was having bad publicity and she wants to thank her celebrity pals for their support.

Robert Plant would not confirm whether he would be performing at Kate's wedding and has said that he really is unable to comment at present. The fiercely private rock star has become reclusive and lives quietly and unobtrusively in North Wales. He has resisted plans to reform Led Zeppelin and has said that you can't keep trying to recapture the past.

Kate has often turned to Robert Plant for advice and has taken onboard his suggestions for cleaning up her act and achieving lasting happiness. It was on his advice that she ditched Pete Docherty and the sleazy drugs scene that was his trademark.

Kate has cleaned up her act and is now is much more wholesome and has become an exemplary mum.

The guest list for her wedding will be like a roll call of rock 'n roll royalty with the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Take That all approached to perform sets.

Kate wants to thank all her generous and genuine friends for their kindness in supporting her when she was at her lowest ebb after being filmed taking drugs. The model lost some important clients but has managed to put those dark days behind her.

Insiders have tacitly agreed that her modelling days are practically over as she is no longer in the first flush of youth and they expect her to leave modelling and to retire to the country.

It is rumoured that she would love to have another baby before it is too late. She has been taking folic acid in preparation for another pregnancy and has been spotted buying books of baby names.

She has desperately begged Plant to play at her wedding as she sees him as an authority and father figure

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
