Riot-inducing results published today have debunked one of the most beloved clichés of all time and space, thus breaking the hearts of armchair philosophers all over the world.
The findings of the study concluded that the grass is in fact less green on the other side than previously thought. Over 46 scientists carried out the research on over 17,872 blades of grass in 21 countries and found that, contrary to popular belief, over 90% of other sides are actually 53% less green.
Dr. Martina Oronic, lead author of the study, said she was surprised by the results:
"We went into the field expecting that perhaps there would be a small discrepancy between the greenness of the grass on this side and the other side, if any at all. We never could have expected such a colossal difference of 3%. It has truly changed our perceptions."
Old ladies everywhere are believed to be mourning the death of this popular myth.
