Boogertown Mayor Halls met with the city council last night for four hours about who called who a Democrat first. Suddenly the council members noticed that Mayor Halls had left the building. Halls was later found sitting in front of the Silver War Statue outside the courthouse Indian style playing a game of checkers with a rabbit and crying.
When asked what was wrong, Hall stated that "he keeps jumping out of turn".
Dr. Juan was then called but told the council members that he knew next to nothing about rabbits.
Before last night's incident, Mayor Halls had announced that Boogertown may yet get a new Chinese factory in where the old Japanese Sumitomo buildings now sit.
"We can't continue on the same road as our previous Mayor", stated Ms. Halls. "We have to take a different approach, a different slant if you will."
Meanwhile, Henrietta "Henny" Kent called the Boogertown Banner earlier today to report that she is opening a vitamin store in her house at Boogerdeen. Henny said she was burying her cat, "Booger" in the back yard near the Booger Green River when she noticed a wild patch of vitamins growing on her property.
So that explains the weird Green Booger Vitamins sign over there that caused the wreck Friday morning. Thankfully, no one was hurt even though Henny was right out there by the people getting out of their cars and offering free Booger vitamins.
