"And the winner is!"

Washington DC: Republican and Democratic politicians are continually trying to cram their political messages onto car bumper stickers. Now these politicians are resorting to plagiarizing famous Hollywood movie lines to make their political statements.

Senator Ted Kennedy: "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn that adding catastrophic coverage to the Health Care Reform bill will bankrupt the country."

House Minority Leader John Boehner: "What we have here is a failure to communicate with the Democrats about our thoughts on the Cap and Trade bill."

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell: "We don't need no stinking Health Care Reform bill."

CIA Director Leon Panetta: "I want to strap House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the hood! She'll be fine. It's not as if it's going to rain or something."

South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford: "Ms. Maria Belen Chapur, you're trying to seduce me."

Vermont Governor Howard Dean: "I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been the US president, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it."

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin: "And one day, not long from now, my looks will go. They will discover I 'm not a politician, and I will become some sad middle-aged woman who looks a bit like someone who was famous for a while."

Vice President Dick Cheney: "When I first saw you Vice President Joe Biden, I thought you were savvy. Then, of course, you spoke."

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid: "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, Senator Al Franken walks into mine."

(Motion picture quoted speakers, in descending order; Clark Gable, Strother Martin, Alfonso Bedoya, Chevy Chase, Dustin Hoffman, Marlon Brando, Julia Roberts, Helen Hunt and Humphrey Bogart.)

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
