Jan. 2009. Karl Rove, Bush and Cheney enter the Oval Office for the last time. Nostalgia overtakes Bush as he openly weeps. Rove and Cheney have no reminises, only a nagging sense of lost power.
"It was so beautiful, and now it is gone!" weeps Bush.
"Now, now..." says Cheney as he reaches under the former President's hairline and pulls out a large computer insert. The deactivated Bush crumples to the floor.
"Well, it was nice while it lasted." sighs Rove.
Cheney reaches down and picks up the lifeless form by the neck. "Who would have thought this thing would get us through 8 years?"
"It was an amazing streak, although it did get dodgy the last few years." stated Rove. "I'm amazed nobody caught on."
"To think that no one ever held so much power secretly before!" muttered Cheney dreamily to himself.
"What are we going to do with it?"
Cheney folded it up. "Secretly burn it and spread the ashes over Iraq. It would be politically symbolic."
"Sounds right on!" answers Rove.
