HOLLYWOOD - Never in the history of a network self-promoting one of its own shows has a show received the hours and hours of promo ads that a show called Whitney has received.

The Whitney in the title is the relatively unknown Whitney Cummings who some may recognize from the relatively unknown show Chelsea Lately which stars the relatively unknown Chelsea gosh what's her name (Handler).

Cummings not only stars on the show but she is also the shows co-creator, co-producer, co-hair stylist, and co-caterer.

Sangria Wine of TV ClickerWorld has stated that so far scenes from the show have been forced on the viewers of NBC an average of eight times a night during prime time.

Miss Wine said that she spoke to a high ranking inside source who asked to remain anonymous and was told that due to the fact that just about every man, woman, and child in America has already seen the shows ads and heard every single one of its jokes, that the show has allegedly already been cancelled without even airing its premier episode.

Former talk show host Larry King, who is an expert on television shows, stated that he had a feeling that the show would get cancelled before it even had its premier just based on the fact that the network had forced it in every viewers face night after night after night.

King said that the same thing happened with an ABC show last year which was to have starred Oprah Winfrey, Stedman Graham, Wanda Sykes, and Whoopi Goldberg called The Black Hillbillies of Harlem.

Larry said that after ABC saturated the airwaves and ran promos for the show seven times a night for four weeks the show was cancelled a week before its first episode even aired.

He pointed out that the same exact thing happened with a show for CBS two years ago which starred Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney which was called Growing Up With Two of The Beatles. That shows marketing promos barrage ran nightly for two whole months.

The pilot episode of Growing Up With The Beatles did air but it was soundly beaten by The Cupcake Countess, So Who Wants To Get A Friggin Tattoo? and reruns of The Addams Family.

In a related story. Larry King, who is 77 was asked to be a celebrity dancer of this years edition of Dancing With The Stars but he says he had to turn it down so that he could keep an eye on his seventh wife Shawn and make sure that she doesn't become an unfaithful wife again.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
