Norwegian punk rockers "Jerry and the Jihadists" have once again proven themselves as grandmasters of bad taste following the release of their latest song "I was Osama's Love Child".
Taken as a slur against their good name, the 17 wives, 167 children and 39 granchildren of the now dead bearded terrorist (both beard and terrorist have been confirmed by the CIA, FBI, BBC, RSPCA, PTO and others as quite dead) are up in arms (nothing new there) about the group's new song.
"Jerry and the Jihadists" shot to fame when they were yet another band in a long line of Norwegain acts to score "nil points" in the Eurovision Fixed Contest, er, sorry, Song Contest.
However, what they are perhaps most memorabolle for is that they were the first ever act in the contest to return a minus score.
Lead Singer Jerry, real name Sven Moron Derekson, who is a former speaker of the Norwegian House of Commons, or 'Government' as it is know locally, said he doesn't really know what all the fuss is about.
He claims the song is just about a little girl, left alone to fend for herself, while her parent goes about his normal day job of arranging to kill innocent people. He said nowhere in the song does it mention Taliban repression or Al Queda's murderous antics.
Well perhaps only a bit at the end. And a scrap in the middle. But not too much at the start.
