LONDON - Queen Elizabeth has stated that she is thrilled that all of the planning for the Royal Wedding is finally behind her.
The queen who just turned 85, and her husband Prince Philip who will turn 90, on June 10 both decided that it would be a wonderful idea to invite two of their favorite people to share a lovely Royal weekend at Balmoral Castle.
When Elizabeth first texted Shakira with the news the world famous singer was simply ecstatic. She said that she would be free on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7.
The queen assured her that those two days would work for her and Philip. She then asked Shakira if it would interfere with her boyfriend Chicharito's sports schedule and she replied that it would not since Manchester United would be playing Chelsea on Sunday May 8.
When Shakira told Chicharito about being invited by Queen Elizabeth and her husband to spend the weekend with them at Balmoral Castle he jumped up for joy and replied, "Jes, we go to dat wonderful land dey call Scot."
And so the foursome will travel to Scotland for what promises to be a Royal fun-filled weekend.
