LAS VEGAS - The stars of The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, who have been an item for some time now, were recently spotted cuddling like a couple of newlyweds at The Ravishing Risque Resort Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas.

The two were seen holding hands as they laid out by one of the largest indoor swimming pools in the world. The pool which is nicknamed Paul's Pool, after Paul Bunyan is roughly the size of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Dobrev, who at 22 is ten years younger than Ian, was asked by Fuchsia Garfunkel of The Cucamonga Chit Chat Chronicle if it was true that the stunningly steamy couple was planning on getting married on Canadian Mounties Day, which is May 23rd.

Nina looked at Garfunkel and asked how in the world she had found that out. She then caught herself and remarked that even though she is in fact Bulgarian-Canadian she and Ian have not really gotten to the point where they are even remotely considering going the wedding bells route.

Garfunkel stated that she had gotten her information from Neil Young, who is Canadian and was part of the 70s icon band Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.

Nina laughed and said that she had not spoken to Neil Young since both had attended The Save The Bison From The Likes of Stalking Bitches Like Sarah Palin Concert in Jackson Hole, Wyoming two years ago.

She then winked at Fuchsia and told her that if and when her and Ian did decide to get married that the very first news agency that they would inform would be Tittle Tattle Tonight followed by Bedroom Pillow Talk and then The Cucamonga Chit Chat Chronicle would be the third one.

Garfunkel beamed with pride and jubilation and asked the couple if that meant that they would inform 4C before they would even tell other news publications and news agencies such as The Left Coast Morning Mirror, The Tinsel Town Times Tribune, iGossip, The West Hollywood Flaming Gazette, and TV ClickerWorld?

When Dobrev replied that he was correct Fuchsia immediately called up her editor and gave him the wonderful news. She said that he was so thrilled that he gave her a $2 an hour raise, a $50 gift certificate to Jack-in-The-Box, and her very own Cucamonga Chit Chat Chronicle parking space.

Ian Sommerhalder did ask Miss Garfunkel to please dispel the rumor that the producer of The Vampire Diaries, Manolo Middlezuck had booked Nancy Pelosi and Sarah Palin to appear in the same episode.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
