John and Edward Grimes, who appeared in the sixth series of the popular talent show, have been nominated for a Mildly Talented But Not That Relevant Award voted for by fellow entertainers. The twins names appear in 2 categories - "Performers Who Jump About A Lot For No Particular Reason" and "Singers Who Are Almost But Not Quite Ever In Key".
The boys positively gushed when the story broke - "We're absolutely pumped. There's nothing more satisfying than being nominated by your peers. It would be amazing if we were to win. We want to do this for Ireland".
Manager Louis Walsh was said to be "positively moist" at the news.
