Lady Godiva, Spoof Writer, has been invited to go on a shopping spree with Queen Elizabeth and Susan Boyle this month.
Queen Elizabeth, an avid reader of the Spoof, and a special fan of the 'female' Spoof writers, heard that Lady G's eldest daughter is to be married later this year. She personally called Lady G. at her modest home in the picturesque fishing village of Port Dover, on the shores of Lake Erie, and invited her to go 'frock shopping' for she (The Queen) also needs to buy a new frock for Wills' wedding.
Naturally Lady G. accepted the invitation and Queen Elizabeth asked if it would be alright to invite Susan Boyle along as she knew Lady G. was a fan of Susan's and hadn't seen her for a while.
Lady G. obviously agreed and is looking forward to the 'outing'. She will be looking for something in 'purple' of course, being the colour of the two Subo fansites she belongs to. She doesn't 'do' hats but may choose to wear a simple flower in her hair.
The Queen will be looking for a new handbag and gloves to match the dress, naturally. Unlike Lady G. she will also be looking for a new hat.
Susan Boyle is busy looking through her 'planner' to see when she has an 'opening'. When Susan finds a day she will be free then the date of the outing will be finalized. Susan is said to be equally as excited and is hoping to get invites to 'both' weddings.
The date and place of the outing will NOT be announced as not one of the three ladies wish to have The Red Scarf Brigade (Subo's FANATICS) following them around throwing red rose petals at them and bestowing blessings.
Lady G. has promised to write about the 'outing' after it has taken place.
