British actor, Henry Cavill is to reprise the role of Superman in the upcoming movie, "Superman - Man Of Steel." Unfortunately, most people don't know who Henry Cavill is.
What is known about Cavill, is that he once portrayed a character, Charles Brandon (not Bronson) the Duke of Suffolk in "The Tudors."
All of which is probably not very helpful if you haven't seen the Tudors, and even if you have, it still isn't clear cut, because in the Tudors Cavill had a beard.
Showbiz folk say that they are working on the assumption that Cavill will shave the beard off - if he hasn't already done so - for the role, because Superman just wouldn't really be Superman with a beard.
Diehard Superman fans are hoping that Cavill will look like the comic book version of Clark Kent, in the same manner as the late Christopher Reeve when he first took on the role.
There have already been doubts expressed in some quarters by industry execs, who are expected to insert a clause in Cavill's contract forbidding him from riding horses.
It is not known at this stage whether the clause has been inserted into Cavill's contract, or if Cavill will agree to adhere to it.
