This morning, a well known Spoof Writer awoke to hear snoring under his bed. He was shocked and amazed as he didn't remember picking anyone up at the pub the night before.
Astounded and perplexed, he slowly got down on his knees in order to take a look and discover what was beneath him.
Imagine his surprise when he found a fellow Spoof Writer snoring away, contentedly beneath his box spring.
Not wanting to alarm his fellow Spoof Writer, he called his editor for advice.
His editor advised him to leave well enough alone as this Spoof Writer under his box spring was merely seeking attention and certainly didn't need any more.
