Hollywood - Bret Micheals' asked his longtime girlfriend, Kristi Gibson, to marry him.
The engagement now means Brett Michaels reality television career will go on for another season with his new show, "Bret Michaels: Life is Over As I Know It."
The new show will go over his struggles with the reality of an engagement and a serious relationship. These are struggles that left him searching for love with numerous women on his past reality shows.
"I am just lucky that Kristi said she would marry me, and that she was willing to do the new reality show with me. I do believe people will see a new side of me and be entertained, too." Bret Michaels said on his website.
The new show will start February 14, 2011, and air on VH1 at 8pm Eastern.
