Owner of The Rooster & Pullet Club just outside Los Angeles says that the late-staying, friendly with everyone, Pee Wee Herman is his best customer by far.
"Pee Wee always keeps his bills paid up although he actually only drinks one alcoholic drink a night and then it's always non-alcoholic beers", stated bar owner, Sid Censure. "I don't know why all those comedians give him such a rough time."
Others at the Rooster & Pullet agree.
"I was short a couple of bucks one night recently and Pee Wee covered for me", stated Howard Tear Duct. "He's done that for a lot of us here and we always pay him back."
"One thing that Pee Wee always does is to notice if some poor lady has really had too much", added Sid. "Pee Wee never fails to offer to drive her home safely and then catch a cab back here."
"Sometimes he's gone for an hour and a half if the lady is about to pass out or something. I guess he gets her drinking a lot of hot coffee."
Still others talked about the local hero.
"If all the ladies are doing fine, Pee Wee will just sit and watch, always keeping that long coat on, should he have to run out and help someone get their car stated."
