Actor and huge star (well, OK not Robert Pattinson, the really massive star) of teenage fan favourite series Twilight, Bronson Pelletier (that's the wolf one) was treated to a broken nose in Birmingham, UK this weekend.
The actor was attending a sci-fi convention when a fight broke out between rival groups The Trekkies and the George Lucas owned Star Wars Fanatics.
Tempers flared when a simple question and answer session involving Mark Hamill sparked a mini-riot. The Star Wars actor angered Star Trek fans by claiming any of the Jedi's would easily kick James T Kirk's heiny any day of the week.
Passing fans of Star Trek overheard the comments and awaited Hamill's exit from the convention's classroom. When they set upon the shocked actor, Star Wars enthusiasts rushed to his assistance.
At the same time, Pelletier had just finished signing three autographs at his workstation, and having tired of answering questions about co-star Robert Pattinson, and why he wasn't there, decided to go for coffee.
"Pelletier was a victim of circumstance really," we were told by an actor portraying a Sand Person, "he was wandering past when the fight broke out and got hit in the face by a six foot four Yoda."
"He obviously mistook him for a Kirk look-a-like, you know, a bit camp, and so whacked him a good 'un," the weirdo continued.
Pelletier is said to be deeply upset and hurt by the incident, and has vowed never to set foot in England again.
Winner of the brawl were the Star Wars fans by a country mile.
Anyone with half a brain knows they could kick James T Kirks ass, any day with a Y in it!!
