Susan Boyle, the excellent Scottish singer, has a way with getting into trouble when she's on the road doing shows.
"Well I showed it this time! Why these things always happen to me, I don't know", stated Boyle to a friend who had came to see her backstage after the last show of the night. "Maybe it's to keep me humble and not getting above myself, so I guess I shouldn't complain."
The friend asked her what was it this time.
"Please explain this to a reporter you can trust, because I know the story will be in the tabloids and on the net by tomorrow if not tonight."
So the friend called our reporter Fanny Bright and relayed the story.
Subo was on the pot back there before it was her turn to come out on stage with her backup group, when she discovered there was only a small bit of toilet paper. She could find no more rolls so she pulled her skirt up a bit and, not seeing anyone around, hopped to the closet in the hall.
She then grabbed a roll quickly and started to hop back the few feet to her dressing room and fell flat on her face.
Naturally the back-up group came around the corner, but then began backing up.
"I guess that's why they call them that", stated the knowledgeable friend.
"Susan always seems to have things happen to her. Of course one of those people will go and sell an 'anonymous' story to a tabloid."
So that was 'behind' all the wild stories this morning. My personal favorite was "Subo's Unusual Limbering Up Exercises Before A Performance!"
This is Fanny Bright for 'The West Coast Post'.
