A spokesman for the Student Debt Collectors (SDC) has launched a vitriolic on-air attack of Chris Moyles after it was revealed the radio presenter had not contributed towards the repayment in the last five months.
"I am very, very angry" the spokesman said "we lent Moyles the money in good faith to help him with his educational aspirations and fund his excessive binge-eating. I spoke personally with the moronic div last week and told him to get it fixed. It's a huge lack of respect to me and financial assistance-based non-departmental public bodies all over the country".
Moyles' student debts are well documented, with the presenter himself previously confessing that he had a £30-a-day kebab habit. But the SDC was unmoved by his excuses.
"We also have mouths to feed" said the spokesman, "which, although not on the same scale as Moyles', can still be considerable".
Moyles lawyer hit back at the accusations arguing that the quality of his clients work is evident that his job is not professional or sustainable and he will resume repayments when he "finally finds a proper job".
