Reports are emerging that weight loss daytime TV queen, Fern Britton has today suffered an unfortunate accident.
It is believed that the accident happened when the gastric banded beauty was on her way to the channel 5 studios to finalsie arrangements for her new daytime show "Ferns fatties" where contestants undergo weight loss surgery like Fern, the climax of the show is a face stuffing competition, entitled "beat the band".
Eye witness reports say Fern was walking over a drain when she was seen to fall through the grill, becoming trapped by her head. The fire brigade took around two hours to release Fern, who is reported to be in a "comfortable" condition in hospital and is demanding liquidised mars bars.
Fern is rumored to have lost more than 30 stone after gastric surgery.
Fern was recently in "The Spoof" news after brawling with arch enemy, buxom comic Jo Brand. When told of Ferns unfortunate accident, Brand is said to have "pissed herself laughing"
