It's been confirmed in the last hour that Cheryl Cole, the X-Factor judge, who contracted malaria after she was bitten by a mosquito whilst on Safari in Tanzania recently, has had a pregnancy test.
It proved 'negative'.
Cole, 27, had taken the test to reassure herself that she was not pregnant after friends insisted that you could get pregnant after a mosquito bite. Doctors say that her friends are 'loonies'.
The Girls Aloud singer had the test conducted in the hospital where she is being treated for the potentially-life-threatening disease. The doctor who carried out the test, said:
"I told the silly bitch you can't get pregnant from a mozzie bite, but she wouldn't believe me. Stupid cow!"
