Singer Melissa Etheridge is headed for Splitsville once again as she has filed for joint custody of children belonging to her and partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels.
However, Michaels has now counter-sued saying that SHE was the one who was artificially inseminated and gave birth to the kids, they are her children.
In case this is deja view all over again, as Yogi Berra would say, the same thing has happened before, between Etheridge and her former partner, Julie Cypher who, as you may remember, became pregnant with the donor being David Crosby.
It gets even more confusing if you try to figure WHEN the gay marriages were legal and illegal in California.
Also, there was a lady named Alice Temperton earlier in the life of Etheridge, who is now trying to get into the action.
Plus, David Crosby now wants visiting rights to the one "that's mine, whichever that one is" and has hired a lawyer to try to figure out what his rights are in the case.
Four women, David Crosby, nine kids and a dozen lawyers...this could be a long time being settled.
"Either way you look at it", stated Etheridge's former lover, Janice Heath, "it's a nasty split!"
