It appears that overwork is taking its toll on X-Factor judge and singing sensation, Cheryl Cole. Onlookers looked on in horror yesterday as Cheryl collapsed at a North London photoshoot for her new album.
Friends had expressed concerns that she has been working too hard since her split with England World Cup hero Ashley, and said that she had been looking pale, and tired recently. Some disreputable sources have reported that she has been surviving on a diet of Typhoo tea and laxatives, since her marriage break up, but this seems highly unlikely.
Our US correspondent explained that her exhaustion may have come about as a result of spending too much time with Dancing Derek Hough, who according to reports is pretty energetic, and can be quite demanding.
Whatever the truth, what is known is that Cheryl collapsed at the photo shoot, and was out of it for several seconds. She was immediately led away, looking pale and shaken and taken to see a doctor, who seemingly diagnosed a stomach virus. She has been given a sick note by her doctor for seven days and told to forget all about the X-Factor auditions until then. It remains unclear whether she will be claiming Statutory Sick Pay off the DSS.
Dancing Derek Hough was reported to be pretty upset by the news, whilst ex-husband to be, Ashley, was too busy texting pictures of his cock to a Vegas cocktail waitress.
