Katie Price's Wedding Blessing to Alex Reid next weekend is set to cost substantially less than her lavish wedding to Peter Andre five years ago, it is reported today.
A spokes-person for Katie said 'Katie and Peter's wedding in 2005 cost in excess of £250,000. That's over £50,000 per year. Katie has given strict instructions that this is to be a budget affair'
The venue five years ago was the exclusive Highclere Castle in Hampshire, where guests sipped champagne and dined on lobster and foie gras.
Whilst the venue for this weekend's nuptuals remains a closely guarded secret, rumour has it that the event is to take place in the Ockley Village Hall. Guests will dine on Big Mac and fries and will get tipsy on Lambrusco and Magner's Cider.
In 2005 Katie was wed in a magnificent gown costing £20,000. This weekend's dress reportedly cost Katie £32.89 off e-Bay.
Only minor celebrities will be in attendance,the likes of Michelle Heaton, Emma B and Danielle Lloyd have been mentioned.
In order to further save on the entertainment costs, the performer for the evening will be Andy Abrahams from X factor 'fame'.
