The 'long awaited' 3 ft. statue has at last been unveiled and is being visited and admired by thousands.
The sculpture is a work of art completed by a loyal Susan Boyle fan. The sculptor belongs to the Purple Team and is receiving congratulations and good wishes from her Purple Team friends.
It is hoped that The Red Scarf Brigade won't try and get their hands on the statue. It has an inbuilt anti-blessing device and, should any of The Red Scarf Brigade try to 'bless it', they will receive a small electric shock which will, it is rumoured, send them to their knees, but not to pray.
Members of Team Purple have organized a rota to 'guard' the statue 24/7. Some are said to have 'reluctantly' agreed to disguise themselves by wearing 'Red Scarves' in order to blend into the crowds when the fanatics start arriving.
Some wary Purple Team members are still active in The Red Scarf Brigade's recently purchased 'domain' and are watching out for threads asking for donations to purchase the statue - as it is NOT up for sale - but 'those greedy buggers will try anything to con a dollar out of the gullible' commented one Team Purple member.
