Made famous for her aggressive interviews and football helmet hair style, Nancy Grace, following months of collaborative research and test audience feedback, has chosen to modify her coif and soften her bangs so that they look a bit more "wispy".

Employing the services of CNN's style department, several test hair styles were digitally superimposed on Grace's head while airing the same interview segment in front of 79 separate test audiences. While the Mullet and Sinead O'Conner looks scored the lowest on the rating scale, audiences seemed to prefer Grace's original helmet but with slight modifications.

"We knew Nancy wanted a different look, but she is so in tune with her audience that any proposed changes were heavily scrutinized", says Grace's personal assistant, Anita Lyffe. "We settled on a look where 476 of the 855 hair strands normally appearing across her forehead, were removed leaving a wispy, wind swept look".

Other insiders to the Nancy Grace show will say that there is really nothing wind swept about the style. "It's just a look", says show producer, C. Michael Hunt. "I mean this is TV after all, so there's about a quarter liter of lacquer based hair spray on that head. We could take a tornado strike in studio and Nancy's doo would be the only thing not disheveled."

Audiences will get their first live look at the Grace hairstyle next Monday, when she interviews the estranged ex-girlfriend to the brother of the gardener at the estate of the lawyer, who plays tennis with the police commissioner of the city where the Haleigh Cummings case continues to unfold. "It promises to be a show with gripping, gripping drama, and a softer looking Ms. Grace", says Hunt.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
