World famous psychic Derek Achorah has released his first album of songs to an unsuspecting public.
Acorah who hails from Liverpool, the home of the Beatles, the Lightning Seeds and Cilla Black, is following in a long tradition of TV celebrities showing off their vocal talents, but Acorah being more than a run of the mill entertainer is not just releasing an album of songs, he is releasing an album of songs sung while channelling the spirits of dead singers.
The medium starts the album off with modern rendition of Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley sung 'by' Elvis, in the way he would have done it were he still alive today. This is followed by The Great Pretender from the late great Freddie Mercury (the record label insists that the late great Freddie Mercury is referred to this way). With both Mind Games and Imagine from a channelled John Lennon on there, he betrays his Scouse roots.
Critics have criticised the Luck Be a Lady from Frank Sinatra as sounding more like Lily Savage, whilst Kurt Cobain singing Walk Like An Egyptian has many people mystified. However, all of these pale into insignificance when the album finishes with Bob Dylan singing Bob The Builder.
The album is available from most bargain baskets in Supermarkets.
