The first ever annual awards show for 'most pretentious band' is ready to announce it's candidates this week. Many tip Rock and Rap bands to top the awards list, including artists like P Diddy and bands like Limp Bizkit.
One of the organisers of the event, David Brandson said: "We're looking forward to this one...as you know it's been in planning for about 6 months now, and it's going to be quite special. This week we're going to be announcing the bands in contention for the awards in a few different categories."
And those categories are:
"Bling-Bling award for largest gold chain"
"Award for altogether most pretentious album title in the world, ever"
"Award for most pretentious utterance during a press interview"
"Award for most pretentious on-stage 'stunt'"
"Award for most pretentious catch-phrase re-used continually throughout a passage of music"
"Award for most pretentious speech at the 'Pretention Awards'"
