The UK winner of ITVs Pop Idol, Will Young, is said to be rehearsing the hit single 'MmmBop!' in a London studio. The single, a hit for Teen sensations Hanson, is generally lauded to have been a huge mistake by God.
"Personally, I think that the moment God gave Hanson the idea for the song, he regretted it. I can't see anyone being happy with that decision."
God has thus far refused to comment.
However, Will Young is looking forward to the opportunity to sing the song: "Oh yeah, well I'm a huge fan of Hanson and their music. And I especially like the cute drummer - but not in that way."
"I spent a long time and a lot of effort proving to the nation that I can sing a complete range of music very well, so I think MmmBop! is the next progressive step."
ITV will announce later this month the name of their next big talent contest. We'd like this opportunity to propose the following:
Miss Table Dancer
Pimpstars
and some contest for drummers that we couldn't think of a clever name for.
