Britain's most private couple, Alex Reid and Katie Price, were confronted by a group of protesters over the weekend as they arrived at a top London nightspot. Stepping out of Pricey's hot pink diamante encrusted horsebox with a TV camera crew, the couple obviously had a quiet night out planned.
In matching pink fur coats and hats the couple were surrounded by the angry mob sporting placards calling for Price and Reid to keep off our screens, news-stands and bookshelves. As the crowd lunged towards them cage-fighter Alex ran back into the vehicle screaming, leaving Price to deal with her haters alone.
Standing like granite against the baying crowd she said, "Come on then - have a go if you think you're hard enough. I'll have the lot of ya. You won't destroy me, I ain't going nowhere."
Her statement has caused further public outcry. Earlier today a petition with over 30 million signatures was delivered to 10 Downing Street requesting that we ban Katie Price before we ban people from smoking on their own in their own car.
Alex Reid was unavailable for comment as he is still cowering in Katie's horsebox.
