Rumors are flying that Joe Jonas may play the role of Bill Compton in the cast of a new movie "Dead Until Dark".

Nothing has been said about who they are considering to play Sookie Stackhouse, the heroine, but since these are early days, the major movie producer would not give out any more information.

According to their rep, Samuel Stuart, the movie is being considered because of the popularity of the books and the fact that it is another vampire series although completely different than most.

"Sookie has a lot of readers hooked on her adventures and Bill is the mystery here. Another thing, this is about working class people in the South.'

Stuart admitted that Joe Jonas did a great interview and reading for the part.

"Joe is very talented and has done more movies than I had realized. Plus, being one of the famous Jonas Brothers would be a draw."

Stuart stated that this is very much in the planning stages and may or may not come off.

"The biggest thing now is who would play the misfit psychic Sookie Stackhouse. We are having tryouts and readings but no one has signed anything yet. Just keep checking back with us."

That's all for now, I'm Dan Hilliard of UP2.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
