Kristen Stewart set tongues wagging at the Oscars the other night, and not for the right reasons. I was instantly enchanted by her and her amazing dress but our attention was quickly monopolized by the absence of boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Instead of walking down the red carpet with her on-screen vampire love in the Twilight Saga, Kristen appeared with other Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.
"Things aren't going so well between Robert and Kristen right now," my source confides. "Their schedules are too hectic to spend any real time together and Kristen is just starting to feel neglected."
So what does this mean for our favourite on and off-screen couple?
"The break-up hasn't been made official just yet but she really made a statement by attending the Oscars with another man who she spends a great deal of time with. There has always been a huge amount of chemistry between Kristen and Taylor and everyone on set, including Rob, picked up on that. He never liked how close they got during the filming of New Moon"
According to my source, Kristen and Taylor are set to become quite the hot couple. "They have really been enjoying each other's company, doing very everyday things like shopping and just hanging out with friends and even holding hands. They are definitely becoming a bit too close for it to be strictly platonic. Kristen even insisted that they be seated beside one another for the awards ceremony."
So I guess that with Taylor Lautner's character of Jacob Black in Twilight being voted the hottie of the Twilight Saga by the fans since his topless scene in New Moon, Kristen is beginning to see the appeal too. Another delicious love triangle, both on and off-screen.
