NEW YORK CITY - MTV has been inundated by complaints from thousands of Italian-American citizens who live in New Jersey about the reality show The Jersey Shore.
The complainants state that they are insulted at the way that Italian-Americans are being portrayed in the very popular show.
Most say that Americans of Italian descent do not use spray on tanning solutions, or spend hours upon hours doing their laundry or even go around saying things like "Ey how ya doin' guido?" "Is dat a pizza dat my honker is smellin'?" and "Guidette what ja say youse come here and sitta ona my face for da next four or nine minutes huh bitch?"
The 39-year-old producer of The Jersey Shore Salvatore Biskatelli says that in lieu of cancelling the show all together he has decided to move it out of New Jersey and into Massachusetts.
Biskatelli pointed out that he will have to change the name of the show from The Jersey Shore to The Massachusetts Shore.
He added that he was sad to say that he is firing the entire Italian-American cast and replacing them with Irish-Americans who have agreed to work for one-third of what the Guido's and Guidette's were getting.
