Gordon Ramsay tried to chop off his fingers on a live cookery demonstration on a television programme in the USA.
He had just finished telling the programmes host Ellen DeGeneres how to use knives safely when he appeared to actually try to chop off his fingers.
Ramsay had recently commented on an article he saw in the spoof in the Magazine section which was called Two Fings you should know about the Wise Woman, which was about the origins of the famous V sign.
Ramsay was preparing a quick veggie stir fry when he cut his fingers but because of the amount of blood the meal had to be given to a vampire instead.
