Remember Titanic, when it "used to be" a HUGE hit? Well the director's back and this should be fun given that his new movie, Avatar has got some serious competition: Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downey Jr. said in an interview that "He didn't think that Sherlcok Holmes will be this sucessful and that he's excited to see the look on Cameron's face when his movie pushes Avatar out of the box office." Suddenly, things turn interesting.
However, Cameron still hasn't given up the fight. He wanted to promote the movie whatever it takes. Wherever it takes him. Eventually, he ended up in Iraq, bringing Sam and Zoe with him. Who knows what will happen to Avatar now.
Meanwhile, Downey Jr. is filming his upcoming movie, Step Brothers, the sequel to the Golden Globe nominated movie, Brothers starring Tobey McGuire and Jake Gyllenhaal.
It has been rumored that Cameron will still make a sequel for his Avatar with Worthington and Saldana out of the scene. Gerard Butler and Angelina Jolie were reportedly taken for the parts of Jake Sully and the blue gay woman.
But that doesn't stop Guy Ritchie from making a sequel as well. Downey Jr. and Law are committed to sequel. But rumor has it that Brad Pitt will no longer play Dr. Moriarty but Hugh Jackman will. Guess the Marvel heroes turned back to the 1800's.
