The Hokey Pokey Dance, a staple at parties, wedding receptions, and dances since the 1940's, is now the victim of a new lawsuit. Former United States Vice President Al Gore, who is attempting to deflect criticism off himself since the Climategate news broke, is now claiming that he wrote the song.
Said Gore: "Long before I was a Senator, long before my Grandmother sang "Look for the Union label" to me as a boy, and long before I invented the internet, I was a simple little rich kid in a sandbox. In those days, I wanted to create a game with the other children where we could do something in unison, and I created this group of motions we could do in the sand."
"We'd put our right hand in, pull our right hand out, and then shake the sand off with different motions as I said a bunch of words."
"I think that the money I get for suing for all of my lost royalties for all of these years should fund my next campaign for the presidency...or another recount in Florida."
