LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Ashlee Simpson will soon be embarking on what is being billed as "The World's First Lip-Syncing Concert Tour."
Las Tres Divas Productions is sponsoring the first-of-it's-kind concert tour and it is reporting that all of the concert dates are quickly selling out.
The original idea came from Britney Spears after she was booed unmercifully by the Australian audiences when it was noted that she was lip-syncing most of her songs.
In fact, during her concert in Brisbane, over 800 people became so angry at the fact that she was not really singing that they walked out and demanded their money back.
A spokesperson for Miss Spears said that the idea of a lip-syncing concert tour occurred to her when she saw the amazing amount of money she had to return to her unhappy concert goers.
Brit decided that the way she could appease her fans was to offer an up-front lip-syncing concert at a 10 percent ticket discount. This way the people attending will know exactly what they are getting or more correctly aren't getting.
She said she discussed it with Jennifer Lopez, whose ass, by the way, is still hurting like an MF'er from the fall she took at the American Music Awards, and J-Oh said "Si."
Lopez laughed it off and said that her ass cast should come off in one more week. She said she has had a lot of fun with people signing, to use her words, her gigantic frickin assarola cast.
When Britney called up Ashlee (Simpson), Jessica's little sister, she said that she would be thrilled to join the lip-syncing concert tour. She asked Brit if she could bring along her brand new puppy Lippy and two of her guppies Lip and Sync.
Ashlee will be the opening act and then Jennifer will perform and then Britney, with the three getting together at the end and lip-syncing the Beatles song "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds."
Sales of the official 2009-2010 World's First Lip-Syncing Concert Tour T-Shirts are already on sale, and so far 900 have already been sold. The T-Shirt has a picture of Las Tres Divas underneath the word "HUH?"
