Dakota, in a Miley wig, shows the similarity of their looks.

Actress Dakota Fanning has filed a lawsuit in California courts claiming that the Hannah Montana television show has stolen her identity. Fanning, whose full name is Hannah Dakota Fanning, claims that the program stole her name by dropping her last name and changing her middle name from one state to another.

"They ripped me off! They stole my identity for their own profit," said Fanning. "When you look at all of the money they have made off of my name in merchandising, I think that a big part of it should be mine."

The Hannah Montana show portrays the life of a sixteen year old entertainer. Actress Hannah Dakota Fanning is fifteen years old. With the similarity of the name, young Miss Fanning believes that she has enough for her lawsuit.

"Besides," she said in conclusion, "this Miley Cyrus is something of a little skank. I just don't want my good name portrayed that way. I'll take my clothes off for the cameras and magazines myself when I'm good and ready!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
