Though sobering consequences from the alleged Balloon-boy hoax loom, sources say Richard Henne refuses to be deterred in the least from his ultimate goal: Starring in a reality T.V. show.
"Richard's looking to capitalize on his biggest success in life, that Wife Swap gig," declares one potential talent agent with insider knowledge of Mr. Henne and his plans. "His burning vision of a show features he and his wife, Mayumi, going about their regular day -- she cooking, cleaning and kibitzing; he heroically striving to advance mankind's spiritual and physical evolution, and still finding time to free Earth from the insidious domination of the Reptilians. To keep the audience glued to their sets, a superimposed clock will tick away in the screen's lower left hand corner, counting the seconds and minutes before misunderstood inventor cum intellectual Richard inevitably backhands bothersome Mayumi. He plans to call it Wife Slap."
And then there's Plan B, claims another prospective talent scout. "If all doesn't go well, and Richard's looking at doing some time, he hopes to launch a Prison Reality show called In the Can." When asked for a treatment, or even an idea just what it might be about, the source enthusiastically replied, "Hey, with a title like that, it practically writes itself! Double entendre, double the plot filler."
And if Richard's previous two ideas don't come to small screen fruition - wife-beating or beating off buggers - then yet another Reality TV hawker has advised Mr. Henne to be patient. "I figure once he wins parole, he ought to seek the rights to T.V.'s The Biggest Loser . . . and then re-script it as an ongoing biopic . . . about himself!"
