Although refusing to admit anything about it, several friends of Angelina Jolie have finally convinced her that what happened to her at the age of 16 has nothing to do with the lady today, so Angelina Jolie told reporters yesterday that it wasn't that big of a deal.
She said it was a big deal to her then and for several years afterward but that her friends had convinced her that lots of things happen to teenagers that they would like to forget.
"I guess embarrassing things stay with you for awhile. Psychiatrists say they can sometimes even damage you for the rest of your life.
So what was the big story?
Apparently, Jolie and some teenage girlfriends wanted to be able to go to a bar but were underage. However, this was finally solved with a lot of make-up, a little clothing and someone who got them some false ID's.
Jolie stated that she also had this huge crush on one of the construction workers she's seen go in the bar after work.
So, with her high heels and short shorts she and her friends made it in. Everything went well for the first half hour as they got a table, had some drinks and her construction worker and his buddies were only a few tables away.
"I finally got up the courage to go up to the bar to place another order and I glanced over and sure enough, there was the guy...watching me. In fact, all three were watching me.
"Then, I turned a little to wave and smile and heaved myself upon a bar stool while the guy really began waving.
"Only it wasn't a bar stool. I had somehow waved my way to the end of the bar and I came down hard..in the trash can. My butt stuck tight. I figured that some of that waving my friend and his two chums were doing, was trying to wave me up the bar a little.
"That was also when I felt a lit cigarette butt against mine!
"I began to scramble till I tilted over and started crawling across the floor like a fast turtle.
"Fortunately, the three guys and my girlfriend got me unstuck but I made a dash for the door and home. Once there I put some salve on my butt and didn't answer our door or the telephone for three days."
Jolie seemed to enjoy getting that off her chest. Of course, everyone was roaring with laughter..and she joined in!
