'Posh' Spice Victoria Beckham was hurt today when she left a hotel in LA. She had just stepped out onto the street when a slight draft blew up. Conscious of Miss Beckham's current state of thinness, photographers rushed over to catch what happened next.
A loud snapping sound elicited a groan from the crowd, but it was immediately drowned out by the noise of press cameras. Fearing the worst, people struggled to see what had happened.
Bernie Hoffman, a local Doctor was at the scene. "I was close by, and heard the loud snap. I pushed through the crowds to see if I could help at all, but by the time I could see Victoria, a car had pulled up and she was being put inside."
When asked how badly Ms Beckham was hurt, Dr Hoffman replied "She was quite hurt because nobody had asked her about American Idol. The snap noise was her clicking her fingers to hail a cab."
So the idea that Ms Beckham had physically snapped because of the wind was not true then? Dr Hoffman laughed. "Don't be ridiculous! It would be impossible. Victoria Beckham has absolutely no wind resistance!"
