Miley Cyrus is set to appear on the forthcoming season of the series, Wizards of Waverly Place, which stars Selena Gomez, one of Cyrus' long-time rivals.
Producers are currently discussing Miley's role with Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who says he is "concerned because it might be inappropriate and we don't want to disappoint the fans of Miley and the Wizards show".
Selena Gomez said she "was flattered Miss Montana would appear on [my] show!" while Miley Cyrus expressed her excitement to "do a catfight with Selena! Something I wanted to do ages ago! Let the match begin! Oh, and I will tell the whole world she is a wizard!"
Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie will premiere next month.
