The King of Pop's feet smelled like dried shit, according to the man employed as his shoeshine boy. Billy Ray Davis III was the third generation of shoeshine boys in his family to work for Jackson. His position allowed him to get intimate knowledge of Jackson's feet.
In his forthcoming book Davis recounts how Jackson would stuff his feet up between the crack of Bubbles the chimpanzee's arse for hours at a time after stepping off stage from his concerts.
Davis says that Jackson believed that chimpanzee arses were where he derived his dancing powers from.
Jackson also had another weird habit of bathing his feet in the toilet after somebody else had used it.
"He said Children's pooh was magical like Peter Pan's and that was his favourite to bathe his tootsies in", said Davis.
Jackson's legendary spats were not in fact spats at all, says Davis: "That was just the shit line on his feet from all the crap he'd been stepping in down through the years."
