Grand Rapids, MI- Renowned film director Peter Jackson said earlier today that he plans to direct a movie, "Beware the Cow," with a cast made up of cows only! He said he's had the dream to do so since he was a child.
"Well mate," Peter said to me with a genuine grin on his face. "It is beautiful... rather they are beautiful! Think of those black spots that adorn the rump and back of your average white cow!" he looks off into the distance, a glazed look in his eyes.
He already has picked out twenty-five main cows for the parts, but is still looking for actors with sexy voices to do the voice overs.
Ben Stiller, Peter Jackson said, will be the speaker for Dylan, the main character. Dylan is a brown bull with one horn, which makes him the subject of much mockery. As the story evolves, Dylan will kill each of the cows and cover his footsteps by framing a tom-boyish female, Suzaneke (Angelina Jolie).
Peter Jackson winked to me and told me he couldn't give more of the plot away.
"Beware the Cow" will hit the theaters January 1, 2010.
