The family of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson have collectively sued MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, and Foxnews. The news networks had given the Jackson family over 48 hours of uninterrupted news coverage, discussion, and exposure during the recent death of entertainer Michael Jackson.
Jermaine Jackson, in a prepared statement for the family, said "At 7:00 this morning, the networks all collectively turned their cameras off of us and begin covering the turmoil at the British Embassy in Iran."
"What right did they think they had to actually cover news besides Michael? Don't they know what is important and what people want to see?"
It should be noted that, after four minutes of coverage of the arrests in Tehran, all networks did switch back to the unending boredom and tedium that is the Michael Jackson saga.
The Jackson family feels, however, that this four minutes would have been better spent showing Bubbles the chimp laying flowers at Michael's birthplace.
