Celebrities, fore and aft in the western world have managed to steer clear of the swine influenza, or so movie mags and gossip rags have thought up to now.
Some are fearing that Big Brother starlets Chantelle and Chanelle's intimate close contact with barnyard animals and Jade Goody may have exposed them to the swine flu virus.
Among British celebrities at risk, the vain rooster from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Chanticleer seems to be counted among the possibly infected. Like Chantelle and Chanelle, Chanticleer has somewhat carelessly trafficked among barnyard denizens.
The reality show beauties seek to excuse their behaviour by blaming the producers and directors of the surreality show.
Chanticleer is rumoured to be offering a common celebrity defence: "My beautiful voice attracts akll manner and means of strange bedfellows and if I had intimate contact with an infected swine, blame it on God for what i now see as a fatal gift of artistic beauty!"
