Bruce & Demi: it was all about Die Hard

Actress and Hollywood icon Demi Moore, 45, has revealed the real reason why her marriage to action hero Bruce Willis, star of Die Hard, failed.

"Bruce was always practising his action man moves," Moore reveals "whenever and wherever. We could be out to dinner, at home or carving it up at the Oscars, and I'd look over and see Bruce practising karate chops, punch outs and The Stunt Man Roll. It was dangerous to me, to our kids and to the public. I was always looking over my shoulder, wondering 'is that man over there reading the menu a trained assassin? Is that man leaning out the window with the sniper rifle pointed at Bruce a killer?' I was always on edge, you know. When you are married to a hero you never know what's going to happen, who's going to get hurt. It was like being on the set of Die Hard."

Moore then went on to say that it all became too much of a strain on their ten year marriage. "Basically, it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. I just didn't want to die hard."

In a 180 degree turn, Moore then went on to marry comedian and star of That Stupid 70s Show, Ashton Tucker. "Ashton may not make my pulse race, keep me on the edge of my seat or even stop me from falling asleep straight after dinner, but at least I know I'm not going to die - hard."

Willis responded to Moore's claim by saying she was such an animal in the bedroom that he was afraid of dying hard.

And that's the real reason why the Moore-Willis marriage died hard.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
