The showbiz world was in shock yesterday when former tabloid editor Piers Morgan asked Ulrika Jonsson an incisive question in the most recent of his 'Life Stories' interviews.
After skipping over details of Jonsson's affair with Sven Goran Eriksson and an alleged rape, Piers finally 'nailed it' by asking the former weathergirl what she had for breakfast that morning.
Jonsson looked shaken and ashen as she eventually admitted to having a couple of kippers with some brown sauce and bread and butter. Morgan leapt on the answer and began to delve further, interrogating Jonsson closely as to the nature of the bread and how she had purchased it. Clearly in shock, Jonsson finally owned up to a medium white sliced loaf from ASDA.
Other highlights from Morgan's series of interviews include persuading Elton John to admit to a liking for cream cakes and getting Delia Smith to reveal that she 'quite liked cooking'.
