"Ringo For Rent!"

Fans of The Beatles who have always wanted to sing alongside John and Paul, or rock with George and Ringo, will finally get their chance on September 9 when the band's much-anticipated videogame hits the shelves.

Although John Lennon will be featured a little more than the other three, after a settlement with Yoko Ono, it should be a lifetime dream to those who always wanted to sing with the Fab Four.

Apple Corps, which handles the affairs of the group, and Viacom Inc's MTV Networks on Thursday set the sale date and announced the software would be priced at $59.99. Fans can spend another $99.99 to buy instruments similar to those used by the groundbreaking rock and roll group.

"Pending yet another lawsuit from Heather Mills for her "Fair share" of the profits, everything should be rweady to go by that date", stated an Apple Corps spokesman.

Meanwhile, Ringo has offered to rent himself out to parties to play drums live along with the video game.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
