Jessica Simpson opened for Rascal Flatts at Madison Square Gardens Friday night without forgetting the lyrics to her songs and crying.
Jessica was wearing a skirt.
She explained between songs that sometimes when she was wearing pants or shorts that when she "went deep down to reach a note, I'd split my pants."
Immediately there arose a chant.
"Bring On The Shorts! Bring On The Shorts!"
One fan yelled, "That's always the highlight of the show..when the shorts split!"
Then, instead of running off the stage in tears, Jessica actually began leading the cheer.
Next she told everyone she would be "Right Back!"
A few moments later, out she came with the shorts!
Great comeback, Jessica. Too bad these never did split!!
